IEN’s Workshops focus on practical academic and professional skills, particularly for students and early-career researchers. These sessions are designed to provide concrete guidance on aspects of academic life that are often important but not always formally taught.
Past workshops have included an Academic CV Writing Workshop led by Hamidreza Salehyar, a workshop on writing conference abstracts led by Laudan Nooshin, and an SOP-writing workshop with George Mürer. These sessions addressed topics such as preparing applications, writing effective abstracts, identifying appropriate conferences, and presenting academic experience clearly.
